Job Description

Prime Med is one of the leading clinics in beautiful Ozark, AL. We have Psychiatry, Neurology, Primary Care, Ketamine Infusion Therapy, Interventional Pain Management and Opioid Dependence Program. The Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant is responsible for providing primary healthcare to patients and families. The candidate will work under the supervision of a physician(s). Duties include, but not limited to: See same-day appointments during regular office hours as well as extended morning, evening, or weekend hours. Obtain and document patient history as appropriate to chief complaint or reason for visit. Conduct relevant physical exam and evaluate patient, documenting pertinent positive and negative findings. Diagnose and treat disease and manage chronic illness. Prescribe medication in accordance with Alabama and federal law. Order appropriate laboratory, radiological and special examinations or tests; interpret results. Provide preventative health services, including health education and counselling. Collaborate with other clinicians and staff members to ensure continuity of care of patients. Requirements Certification in
FNP / PA-C
No experience required Must possess current, unrestricted Alabama license or be eligible for licensure Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrolment or be eligible to enroll Ability to work independently and as a team Must possess strong communication skills both oral and written Work Shift Flexible working hours, including weekends Competitive Benefit Package Competitive Base Salary commensurate with experience Eligible for high performance bonus Malpractice Insurance Continuing Medical Education (CME)
