Job Description

As a Nurse Practitioner at New England Women's Healthcare the NP provides comprehensive women's health services to women throughout all stages of life. The NP collaborates closely with the Physicians. This is a 100% office-based role focused on comprehensive gynecologic care for patients in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications:
  • Must have 2-5 years experience as OBGYN Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) Assists physicians in the care of patients in the office, including screening and diagnostic workup of patients.
  • Works in collaboration with the physicians to assess the physical needs of the patient and implement a plan of care.
  • Develops and maintains own practice panels.
  • Evaluates, interprets, and records results of tests (Laboratory, Radiology, etc.), and reports results to physicians.
  • Responds to telephone calls from patients, pharmacies, etc., to meet the patients' needs.
  • Communicates examination results to patients by telephone and/or letter.
  • Coordinates and supervises the overall patient flow to ensure a smooth patient turnover.
  • Provides patient and staff education.
Maintains accurate encounter forms for billing purposes. Provides diagnosis and treatment plan for insurance companies as requested. Ability to gather and interpret data for the diagnosis and management of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including annual exams and preventive screenings
  • Diagnose and manage common gynecologic conditions
  • Counsel patients on contraception, menopause, sexual health, and preventive care
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff as needed
  • Prenatal and postnatal care
  • Care during perimenopause and menopause

$95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
