Nurse RN Special Needs Part-time

Duties include (not limited to): Medication Checks and oversight of administration of medications and staff training related to medication administration Ensure correct documentation of medication administration Communicate information about student change of medical condition to staff Maintain student medical records, including setting up files for new students as needed Occasionally schedule appointments for students with medical providers Oversee ordering and inventory of medications Ensure storage of medications in compliance with applicable standards Group Home medication audits Able to communicate professionally and respectfully with nursing department and staff Other duties deemed necessary by CNS (discussed in interview)

Valid and current non restricted, unencumbered RN nursing license A good driving record with current vehicle insurance Dependable transportation Ability to work in team setting as well as independently Pass a Federal and DHR background check

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential and required job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal standards including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards
