Pay:

Ability to assist in the full range of nursing care to pients/residents with physical and/or behavioral problems in a hospital, long term care or outpient setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Vocional Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse. 2. Ability to communice orally with pients/residents, families, interdisciplinary team and other personnel. This includes serving as a preceptor to new NAs by assisting with the coordinion of their oriention and overseeing/assessing their practical experience while in a clinical setting. 3. Ability to recognize and react to emergent pient/resident care situions and intervene while waiting for assistance. For example, recognizing need for basic life support, controlling bleeding and assisting with behavior crisis, etc.

Preferred Experience:

Long-term care or sub-acute rehab unit will have hands-on experience working with elderly residents or pients in settings such as skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, or similar environments. Experience caring for individuals with chronic conditions or dementia, as well as supporting pients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury in a sub-acute rehabilition environment, is highly valued. Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living, including bhing, dressing, feeding, toileting, safe transfers, and ambulion, and should be comfortable using gait belts, mechanical lifts, and other assistive devices. Experience in measuring and recording vital signs, observing changes in pient conditions, and adhering to infection control protocols is important. Strong communicion and teamwork skills The ability to provide emotional support and encouragement, maintain accure documention using electronic medical records, and adapt to changing pient needs are key tributes. Certificion as a Nurse Aide (CNA) Familiarity with maintaining a safe and clean environment further demonstres preparedness for service in a long-term care or sub-acute rehab setting.
