Job Description THE JOB:
The Computer Engineer will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to complex challenges, proposing enhancements to existing processes, and driving efficiency and effectiveness across deployment operations. They will leverage technical expertise and creative problem-solving to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline workflows, and ensure successful implementation of new systems and procedures.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Develop innovative solutions to complex technical and operational challenges. Identify opportunities to improve and streamline deployment processes. Propose and implement enhancements that increase efficiency and effectiveness. Leverage technical expertise to ensure smooth system deployments. Apply creative problem-solving to overcome obstacles and optimize workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful implementation of new systems and procedures.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Associate's Degree in Information Systems/Technology Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with relevant certifications such as A+ or MCP preferred. Minimum of 6 months prior IT experience in a similar role, with experience in resort/hospitality settings and cross-platform integration preferred. Develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges, identify opportunities to improve processes, and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Strong problem-solving, quality assurance, and system/integration testing skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across platforms. Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical team members and collaborating in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible and organized, able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays, multi-task under deadlines, and provide outstanding customer service and interpersonal support.
