Send job Job Details Company Job Details Serves as an Associate Scientist to support the operation of automated lab equipment. Under the direct supervision of management, performs routine technical tasks and will begin to manage, organize, and troubleshoot more independently. Has operational knowledge of laboratory equipment. Has a basic understanding of clinical study protocols and procedures for specimen handling and storage. Responsibilities during a typical day might include the following: Operating automated laboratory systems, including biospecimen storage/retrieval equipment and liquid handlers Troubleshooting system errors and performing routine maintenance under supervision Assisting in training and supporting teams who use automated systems Communicating with internal groups and external vendors to resolve equipmentrelated needs Supporting qualification and validation activities for new automated systems Working with automation programs with guidance Using LIMS to accurately track sample movement in real time Using ELN for documenting equipmentrelated activities Using VBA macros to estimate and record run times; may write simple macros to support workflow organization Maintaining GLP compliance for all lab work, documentation, and sample handling Keeping individual and shared lab spaces clean and organized Following all laboratory safety requirements and helping identify and correct safety concerns Sharing information effectively with management and team members Participating in team or subteam meetings and occasionally presenting work Demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic Engaging in ongoing professional development and communicating regularly with management regarding performance This role may be for you if you: Work well in a teamoriented environment and can manage multiple tasks effectively Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues across departments Are organized, detailoriented, and proactive in your work Are comfortable learning new systems, tools, and automated technologies Can follow established procedures while also identifying opportunities for improvement Are committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance A Bachelors degree with 04 years of relevant experience A Masters degree with 02 years of relevant experience Does this sound like you?
