Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic pediatric and adult therapy team. In this vital role, you will assess, plan, and implement personalized therapy programs to enhance patients' functional independence across diverse environments. Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs using physiology knowledge and medical terminology. Develop and implement tailored care plans that address individual goals related to ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), mobility, sensory processing, and other functional skills. Assist patients with ADLs such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting to promote independence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including speech and physical therapists—to coordinate holistic,neuro-affirming patient care. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist. Demonstrated expertise in working with individuals with disabilities across age groups— including pediatrics, geriatrics, and those with special needs such as autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care principles. Experience developing care plans and engaging in case management activities. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
