Potential Renewal Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) for an onsite, full-time position in a small, supportive private school setting. This opportunity is available immediately and will continue through the end of the school year, with confirmed Extended School Year (ESY) services and strong potential for renewal.
Caseload:
Approximately 8-9 students Small private school environment with a total student population of about 70
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to assigned students Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student success Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications:
Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist license NBCOT certification (OTR/L) required Previous school-based experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills
Schedule:
32.5 hours per week Onsite position
