We're seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a facility in Williamstown, MA, on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. You'll work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Compensation is $1,876/35 hours for travel candidates and $1,848/35 hours for local candidates. What you'll bring Active, valid Occupational Therapy state license Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included) What you'll do Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities and their environments to pinpoint limitations and set realistic goals. Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary team. Use a variety of therapeutic approaches to improve daily living skills, independence, and functional outcomes. Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices. Teach and practice activities of daily living (ADLs) with patients to build skills and confidence. Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies to promote independence. Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet goals. Work closely with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other care team members to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate, timely records, including evaluations and progress notes. Support patients' safe transitions back to their homes and workplaces. Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development.
