Job Description
Occupational Therapist
- Outpatient Location Coeur d'Alene, ID Facility Kootenai Health Department Occupational Therapy
- Outpatient Schedule/Shift/Hours Full Time
- Days Category Rehabilitative Therapies Hours Per Pay Period 80 = 1.
- Teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities
- Studies, evaluates, and records patients' activities and progress
- Performs a variety of tasks
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
- Typically reports to a manager
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
- Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a nationally accredited school of occupational therapy required
- Current Occupational Therapy License in the State of Idaho required Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
- Typical equipment used in a clinical job
