SUMMARY OF POSITION
Trained lymphedema Occupational Therapist to work specifically within the breast center to help reduce side effects from surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. This role will assess, plan, and organize rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to persons with disabilities or developmental delays. Use therapeutic techniques, adapt the individual's environment, teach skills, and modify specific tasks that present barriers to the individual.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
(S): Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required. Currently licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist by the state of employment. If working under a temporary license, Occupational Therapy license in the state of employment must be obtained within three (3) months of employment. BLS upon orientation completion One (1) year of experience with manual therapy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
(S): Lymphedema certification Three (3) years of experience with manual therapy
