Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist supporting early intervention in the Douglas County area. In this contract position, you'll connect with families and young children, providing crucial occupational therapy services directly in their homes. Your interventions will foster development and independence, ensuring the best start for each child you serve. Ideal Experience & Qualifications:
Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience providing OT in school or early intervention settings preferred Understanding of pediatric assessment tools, therapy approaches, and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills with families, caregivers, and teams Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in various home settings Reliable transportation for regional travel within
Douglas County Core Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for children in early intervention programs Implement individualized plans to improve sensory, fine motor, and daily living skills Coach and support families, offering practical strategies to promote continued progress outside of sessions Collaborate with educators, service coordinators, and other specialists Maintain detailed and timely documentation, monitoring goals and outcomes Travel primarily within Roseburg, with some visits to surrounding areas This is a full-time contract role (40 hours per week), starting as soon as possible and running through June 2027.
