Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving young children and families in the heart of Douglas County. This position focuses on early intervention physical therapy, providing direct services by visiting homes and ensuring that each child receives the hands-on support necessary for optimal development. You'll be part of a dedicated team committed to making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of children and their caregivers.
Key Qualifications:
Current physical therapy licensure Experience in school-based or early intervention settings Solid understanding of pediatric physical therapy best practices Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to travel within Douglas County, primarily based near Roseburg, OR Enthusiastic about working collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver early intervention PT services to infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, primarily through home visits Collaborate with caregivers to develop strategies that support children's gross motor growth in natural environments Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans Provide consultative support to early childhood special education (ECSE) staff as needed Maintain clear, detailed records in compliance with state and program guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and monitor progress What's in
