Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an enriching summer opportunity where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist directly impacts early learners. Collaborate onsite with a supportive educational team, providing quality ESY (Extended School Year) coverage for a Birth-3 caseload. This short-term contract runs from June 15 to July 24, offering the rewarding chance to make a difference while working regular Monday through Friday hours (excluding June 19 and June 29-July 3). Bring your skills in pediatric and school-based OT to foster growth, development, and independence for young children. This is an ideal role for professionals who enjoy working with early childhood populations in a school setting and are searching for a summer role with a positive community focus.
Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota (Please ensure your license and resume are attached for consideration) Experience in school or pediatric settings, preferably with Birth-3 age group Familiarity withIEP/IFSP
processes and documentation Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and organizational skills Dedication to fostering developmental milestones in early learnersKey Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services onsite to students ages Birth-3 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute toIEP/IFSP
