Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role dedicated to making a meaningful impact within a supportive educational environment. This opportunity focuses on providing occupational therapy services during the summer session, working closely with PreK students exhibiting social-emotional, behavioral needs, as well as a small number of elementary-aged students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and high school students with ASD.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts. Demonstrated experience or familiarity with school-based OT practice. Prior work with PreK or high school students with ASD, social-emotional, or behavioral needs is highly valued. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams, adapting to unique student requirements. Excellent communication and documentation skills.Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services onsite to PreK through high school students based on individualized education plans. Develop, implement, and monitor therapy goals tailored to student needs in areas such as self-regulation, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behaviors. Collaborate and consult with educators, behavioral specialists, and families to promote generalization of skills across environments. Maintain accurate records, provide progress updates, and participate in team meetings as required. Engage in data-driven therapy decision-making to achieve optimal student outcomes.Schedule:
Summer contract from July 6, 2026, to August 13, 2026. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM. 22 hours per week, onsite only.
