What We're Looking For:
Current Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license required Experience in school-based OT or as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) preferred Skilled in developing and implementing student-centered therapy plans Strong communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Adaptable to working with diverse caseloads, including both elementary and high school students Committed to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and deliver direct OT services for students Collaborate with teachers and special education teams to align therapy with IEP goals Maintain thorough documentation and communicate progress with families and staff Provide strategies, accommodations, and assistive technology as needed to support student participation and success Participate in meetings and contribute to dynamic educational teams
