Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract role as an Occupational Therapist supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade in the vibrant region near Texas City, TX. This part-time position for the 2026/2027 school year is perfect for professionals who thrive in educational settings and are passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential. Your expertise will make a direct impact by working onsite to evaluate and address the unique needs of a diverse K-12 caseload, collaborating closely with instructional staff and families to create supportive, effective interventions.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain) Background in providing OT services within school settings, especially supporting K-12 populations Strong understanding of educational and therapeutic best practices Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with students, educators, and families Experience developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
Assess and treat students in accordance with individualized goals and IEPs Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support Provide direct and consultative OT services in a school setting Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all interventions and progress reports Participate in meetings and professional development as needed Perks of the
