Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist working with children in a dynamic pediatric clinic setting. This full-time contract opportunity is based near Santa Barbara, CA, offering you the chance to build lasting relationships with young learners while contributing your professional expertise in a supportive environment. Qualifications & Experience:
Active and valid California Occupational Therapy license Previous experience in a school or pediatric clinic preferred Demonstrated ability to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized OT programs Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff Willingness to fulfill a 6-12 month contract commitment Strong documentation and organizational skillsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to support students' functional performance in the classroom Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide ongoing support Maintain required records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations Advocate for student needs and promote inclusion within the school setting As part of this contract position, you'll enjoy working alongside a dedicated team in a welcoming clinic environment, gaining valuable experience and developing professional connections.
