Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract assignment providing Occupational Therapy or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) services within a supportive school environment located near Braintree, MA. This position is ideal for professionals eager to make a difference through short-term coverage for makeup sessions during the summer ESY (Extended School Year) program. You'll have the opportunity to work 2-3 days weekly, with flexible schedules available Monday through Thursday—allowing exceptional work-life balance throughout the summer months. The ESY program launches June 29th, offering both 4-week and 6-week schedules, wrapping up July 23rd or August 6th, depending on your assignment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active OT or COTA state license School-based experience strongly preferred Ability to assess and provide direct therapy services to students with diverse needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with school staff, students, and families Commitment to delivering evidence-based, individualized interventions
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver makeup OT/COTA services per student IEPs Collaborate with educational teams to implement effective strategies for each child Document session notes and progress, ensuring compliance with school and state requirements Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages student success
