Occupational Therapist School Setting - Saint Charles, IL

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide specialized support in a school setting, working with an elementary population. This contract position involves working two days a week at a school located approximately 45 miles west of downtown Chicago in Saint Charles, IL. The role offers an opportunity to deliver targeted OT services that enhance the educational experience and support students' developmental needs.

Responsibilities:

Provide evaluation, treatment, and intervention services for elementary-aged students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Utilize evidence-based practices to address fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills challenges Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies Participate in meetings related to student progress and program development

Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings Familiarity with elementary student needs and relevant therapeutic strategies Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with educators and families Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently Available to start as soon as possible
