Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Take your occupational therapy expertise into a dynamic school setting, where you'll have the opportunity to make an impact across multiple age groups—from preschoolers to young adults in a transition program. This contract role supports students district-wide and is perfect for a dedicated OT seeking part-time flexibility for the 2026-2027 academic year. Step into a meaningful position working 2-3 days each week, primarily on Tuesdays and Thursdays plus one additional weekday. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and help empower students with diverse needs to achieve greater independence and success.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with active state certification. Demonstrated experience providing OT services to school-aged children. Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and support in educational settings. Comfortable working with students from preschool through transitional ages (18-22). Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload across different school sites. Collaborative, communicative, and proactive in supporting teachers, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in student IEPs. Assess, plan, and implement individualized and group interventions. Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings. Collaborate with educators to adapt learning environments and foster student engagement. Support transitions for students moving between educational programs and age groups within the district.
