Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role for the 26/27 school year, where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist will make a meaningful difference in the lives of students. This opportunity supports a school-based setting where collaboration and student growth are at the heart of every day. You'll partner with educational professionals and have the chance to connect with colleagues, including MJ's OT, to ensure seamless services for students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current OT licensure (or eligibility) in the state is required Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of pediatric development and IEP processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students Implement evidence-based OT interventions within the school environment Participate in IEP meetings and provide insightful recommendations for student success Document evaluations, progress notes, and other required paperwork accurately and timely Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and family members Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and classroom dynamics
