Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting middle school students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position, based near Madison, WI, offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners by providing essential OT services within a collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff Ability to adapt interventions to meet the individualized needs of middle school students
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and create tailored treatment plans to address students' physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges affecting school performance Deliver direct and consultative OT services in group and 1:1 settings during the school day Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to integrate occupational therapy goals with IEPs Develop strategies and modifications to foster independence and participation in the educational environment Maintain thorough documentation and participate in meetings to support student progress
