Preferred Qualifications:

Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans Familiarity with IEP procedures and documentation Strong communication skills to work effectively with educators, students, and families Compassion, adaptability, and reliability Collaborative spirit and eagerness to learn

Responsibilities:

Perform assessments to determine students' needs for occupational therapy within the educational environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving students' academic access, self-care, and functional abilities Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' goal-setting Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions Provide both direct therapy and consultative services to students and staff Educate and support teacher teams with resources and strategies for student success Adapt therapy approaches based on ongoing evaluation and feedback
