Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling assignment as a contract Occupational Therapist, supporting K-12 students throughout the 2026-2027 school year in a vibrant school community near Glenrock, WY. This is a full-time opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about making a measurable difference in the lives of students with diverse needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred Familiarity with K-12 caseloads and the variety of developmental stages Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students Adaptability and resourcefulness in a dynamic educational environment
Your Role & Responsibilities:
Conduct occupational therapy assessments for students across all grade levels (K-12) Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs and IEP goals Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, counselors, and other support staff Provide direct intervention individually and in small groups Monitor, document, and report on student progress and adapt strategies as necessary Educate and train staff and families on strategies for supporting students' occupational therapy needs within school and at home Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans This position offers the rewarding experience of working directly with students, helping them develop skills that empower their independence and success in the classroom and beyond.
