Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, working with school-aged students and making a tangible difference in their lives. This contract position offers the chance to support growth and independence in children while collaborating with a supportive educational team. Positions are available in three different locations, each requiring 15 hours per week, allowing for a balanced schedule and meaningful engagement with your students.
Three positions are currently available:
Lake in the
Hills, IL:
Serve a caseload of 20 students
Morton Grove, IL:
Work with 20 students
Rockford, IL:
Caseload to be determined What we're looking for: Valid OT or COTA licensure for the state of Illinois Experience in school-based settings preferred Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Skilled in collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills Compassion, patience, and creativity in helping students achieve their fullest potential Key responsibilities: Conduct occupational therapy assessments and report findings Develop and implement IEP goals, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct intervention and consultation services for students with a range of needs Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services provided Educate families and school personnel on strategies and accommodations Adapt interventions to suit students' diverse backgrounds and unique abilities Experience the satisfaction of helping students overcome challenges and build essential skills for school and life.
