Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' growth and success through skilled occupational therapy services in a welcoming school environment near El Paso, IL. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated OT passionate about fostering independence and improving school participation for young learners.
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapy license in Illinois Pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Effective communication, organization, and time management skills Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals Adaptable, positive, and student-focused attitude
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and district policies Conduct comprehensive assessments and document findings to guide service delivery Develop treatment plans targeting fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-help abilities Monitor and measure student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers for integrated support Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input to team discussions Maintain timely, accurate records and ensure compliance with all documentation requirements This school will offer you the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' daily school lives.
