Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role as a full-time School Psychologist providing essential support to an elementary caseload. This opportunity offers the chance to make a daily difference by assisting young learners near El Paso, IL, while contributing as a valued member of a collaborative educational team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including administering and interpreting tests for elementary students. Complete detailed, timely report writing to support educational planning and intervention. Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to create data-driven strategies that address diverse student needs. Participate in meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams focused on student success. Offer crisis intervention and social-emotional support as appropriate. Support the implementation of Response to Intervention (RTI) and special education eligibility processes.
Qualifications:
Valid and current School Psychologist certification recognized by the state. Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or closely related field. Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting, preferably with elementary populations. Strong skills in evaluation, report writing, and analyzing assessment data. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a supportive district team.
