Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a school-based setting during the 2026/2027 academic year. This role centers on delivering Occupational Therapy (OT) services, collaborating closely with educators and other therapy professionals to foster student success and growth. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with children and adolescents, eager to contribute to an inclusive educational environment, and skilled in adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state OT license (or eligibility) Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with IEP development and documentation processes Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective therapy interventions for school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive OT services to students as identified in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine students' therapy needs Develop and implement individualized therapeutic strategies and goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning This contract position offers the unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' lives throughout the 26/27 school year.
