Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role providing speech-language services in an educational setting for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract opportunity calls for a passionate professional ready to make a real difference in students' communication skills and academic progress. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment near Wilmington, VT.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working in schools, especially with preschool through high school populations Ability to plan and implement individualized therapy strategies Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students across a diverse range of ages and abilities Develop comprehensive IEPs in partnership with classroom staff and families, ensuring services align with educational goals Deliver direct and consultative therapy, track progress, and adjust plans as necessary Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to school and state requirements Contribute expertise and guidance to multidisciplinary teams and engage in ongoing professional development In this contract position, you'll have the chance to positively influence students' academic and social success while gaining valuable school-based experience for the 26/27 academic year.
