Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist serving K-12 learners in a contract position with guaranteed hours. This opportunity begins August 6, 2026, and runs through May 21, 2027, offering a structured Monday-Friday schedule of 32.5 hours per week during school operating times.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapy license and eligibility to practice in schools Previous experience in a school-based OT position or strong interest in working with K-12th grade populations Proficient in delivering both direct and indirect therapy services to students of varying abilities Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as a supportive part of the educational team
Role Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy assessment and treatment to a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals based on student needs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student participation in school routines Complete required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner Focus solely on therapy-related duties with no extra district tasks such as bus or parent pickup duty
