Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of young children by providing essential occupational therapy services in a flexible, part-time contract role. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced OT who thrives working with preschool-aged children and enjoys a dynamic, collaborative school environment. In this role, you will provide itinerant occupational therapy services for early intervention students across various preschools in the area. You will travel between locations, delivering individualized support that helps children develop the foundational skills they need. Your work will have a meaningful impact on families and educational teams.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Pennsylvania Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting Strong knowledge of early intervention strategies and preschool development Ability to communicate effectively with young children, families, and interdisciplinary teams Flexibility to travel between multiple sites during the workday Self-motivated and organized when managing a varied caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to preschool-aged children in their educational environments Assess student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and caregivers to maximize student outcomes Maintain clear, accurate documentation according to school and early intervention guidelines Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and family consultations as needed Perks of the
