Occupational Therapist School Setting - Keenesburg, CO ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Keenesburg, CO Job Details Full-time | Contract $28.47 - $58.47 an hour Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing occupational therapy services in an educational setting requires expertise, collaboration, and commitment. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed Occupational Therapist ready to support a K-12 student caseload across multiple school buildings in a dynamic district near Denver, Colorado. Located in Keenesburg, CO, approximately 35 minutes northeast of Denver, the position offers a 37.5-hour workweek serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The caseload is shared and supervised alongside a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), fostering a collaborative and well-supported work environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active Colorado OT license is required. Certification of Educational Competence (CDE) must be in process and active prior to the start of the next school year. Experience working in school-based settings preferred. Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse K-12 caseload. Open to travel therapists interested in placements in the Denver area.Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students in various school settings. Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs). Supervise and collaborate with the COTA to effectively split caseload responsibilities. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements. Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
