Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Carson City, NV. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location. The assignment is at a skilled nursing facility. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Nevada Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Minimum of one year of experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care settings preferred. This is a preferred requirement. Experience with restorative programs, ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendation, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred. Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in discharge planning.
