As a valued member of our healthcare team, we are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our medical staff. About the
Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and support our occupational therapists in their therapeutic interventions. As an OTA, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals, improve their mobility and independence, and enhance their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients Conduct occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and modalities, under the supervision of an occupational therapist Monitor patient progress and report changes to occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment and progress Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Provide education and training to patients, family members, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, activities, and safety precautions
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field 0 years of experience (new graduates welcome to apply!) Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or willingness to obtain Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
