Job Description

Burial vault company local to Morganton, NC is seeking an organized, proactive Office Assistant to join our team. This position will provide administrative support to ensure efficient daily functions in both office and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in answering phones to take customer orders.
  • Take customer orders and process appropriately.
  • Update and manage daily route sheets.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable - Data entry of customer orders into ledgers, Quickbooks and invoices. Print invoices once a month.
  • Act as a back-up to make and apply vinyl decals for customization of burial vaults.
  • Act as a back-up for payroll and other HR functions.
  • Monitor office supplies and provide list of needs to Office Manager.
  • File accounts payable documents.
  • Staff office one weekend per month to answer phones and process customer orders (days off to compensate for time).
  • Assist in tracking inventory at two other locations.
  • Assist in documenting and tracking employee vacations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel
  • Experience or a willingness to learn Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience or a willingness to learn QuickBooks
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to work one weekend per month in customer service
STARTING PAY
$24/
HOUR Pay:
From $24.00 per hour
