Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office/Laborer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our office environment while supporting various administrative and labor tasks. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and possess excellent communication skills, ready to handle a variety of responsibilities that keep our workplace efficient and welcoming. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to develop their office management skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced setting. Duties Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and directing phone calls using multi-line phone systems Assist around the shop, i.e. building boat lifts, cleaning, and helping with repair work Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software Support office management activities such as calendar management, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings Provide excellent customer support through professional phone etiquette and responsive service Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate office maintenance as needed Perform general clerical duties including typing, photocopying, and updating records in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications Skills Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data entry tools Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment Experience with office management, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks preferred Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse client needs Knowledge of front desk operations, some mechanical skills, and customer service best practices Attention to detail for proofreading documents and managing files accurately Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the workday Personal assistant or clerical experience is advantageous but not required Strong communication skills including phone etiquette and customer support capabilities
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
