Job Description

Pacific Firs was established in 1999 and has grown to become the premier producer of small dimension lumber products in the Pacific Northwest. Known for our commitment to exceptional quality and rapid order fulfillment, our products have come to serve customers across the entire western United States and even as far as Hawaii. Today, our team of over 20 employees takes great pride in our local community and is dedicated to producing some of the highest quality small-dimensional lumber products in the Pacific Northwest. Job Summary The Office Manager is the heartbeat of our organization and plays a crucial role in maintaining an efficient, productive, and positive work environment. This full-time position operates on-site from Monday through Friday, however specific hours can be adjusted to accommodate personal requirements. General functions include all things administrative: accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, customer communication and bills of lading, to name a few. Duties Daily communication with the General Manager and Mill Managers Process weekly timecards and payroll twice monthly Responsible for monthly invoicing and accounts receivable Responsible for billing and accounts payable Responsible for mill supply orders and inventories Maintain organizational files on company server and appropriate hard-copy files Answer phones and inbound email inquiries Track inbound and outbound freight shipments Onboard new employees using established new employee onboarding process Responsible for documenting all safety meetings and implementing continuous safety protocol Process incoming mail and prepare deposit slips Other duties as assigned Requirements Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent computer literacy including Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Drive, Calendar) Strong clerical skills such as typing, proofreading, data entry, filing, and document management Exceptional phone etiquette with experience handling multi-line phone systems and customer support calls Great personality & friendly demeanor
Pay:
$24.00 - $29.00 per hour
