Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager/Bookkeeper to oversee daily office operations and manage financial records. This role requires a proactive individual with strong administrative, bookkeeping, and team management skills to ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in office management, human resources, and financial processes, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and professionally. Must know how to use QuickBooks and process payroll. Construction or Design knowledge would be also helpful in this position. Responsibilities Manage daily office operations, including front desk duties and multi-line phone systems Handle bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software Manage vendor relationships and coordinate procurement of supplies and services Supervise administrative staff and coordinate training & development initiatives Oversee payroll processing, budgeting, and financial reporting Maintain organized filing systems for documents, records, and correspondence Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding, employee records, and compliance Ensure effective communication across departments through phone etiquette and clear messaging Supervise clerical tasks including data entry, document preparation, and record keeping Requirements Proven experience in office management, bookkeeping, or administrative roles within a professional setting Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Supervising experience or team management skills preferred Knowledge of human resources processes, payroll administration, and vendor management Experience with Construction would be a bonus Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Prior experience in clerical work, front desk operations, or office experience is essential
