Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch/ Office Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing financial transactions, managing accounts payable/receivable, and supporting daily operational tasks to ensure efficiency in our plumbing services. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate logistics within a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and payments. Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and vendor accounts. Assist in payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and tax filings. Prepare financial reports, job costing analysis, and budget tracking. Maintain organized records of financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks). Work with external accountants for audits and tax compliance.Operations & Administrative Support:
Coordinate scheduling, dispatching, and workflow for plumbing technicians. Assist with inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained. Handle vendor and supplier communication, including ordering materials and negotiating contracts. Support compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Manage customer inquiries, contracts, and service agreements. Assist with project tracking, job completion documentation, and client billing.Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or operations support (experience in construction or plumbing industry is a plus). Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks, Google and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,). Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, vendors, and clients. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.Benefits:
