Bob Sumerel Tire Company, one of the largest commercial tire distributors and service providers in the U.S., is seeking a General Manager in the Dover, Ohio location to join our winning team. Seeking an experienced, energetic individual who is a confident self-starter, outgoing with good customer service skills and able to communicate effectively with all levels of sales and service within an organization. This truck tire, service and distribution center employs 10-15 employees in Dover. Hands on, attention to detail, a high sense of urgency, and the ability to see the job through are required in our fast-paced environment. An understanding of P&L's and knowledge of the transportation/trucking tire or heavy-duty trucking maintenance/leasing is a benefit.

Duties include:

Direct work force to ensure maximum productivity. Review employee payroll hours daily, monitoring overtime and authorizing as needed. Ensure that facility and all company owned assets are clean and presentable. Interact with customers on the phone and in person. Review and positively impact monthly financial statement with leadership and management. Handling incoming and outgoing product for the retread plant as well as communication with the re tread plant manager.
