To be clear:
we're not pushing anyone toward burnout-level intensity. We're not assigning quotas or penalizing slower weeks. We're just removing the bottleneck. If you want to see 25, 28, 30+ clients a week, we can supply that pace — you set the ceiling, not us. If your ideal week looks like 15-18 sessions with a lot of open time, this likely isn't the right fit for what we're recruiting for right now — and that's okay. But if you're a clinician who feels most alive in the room with clients and has been frustrated by not having enough of them to see, read on. Why this works here Most private practices ask clinicians to wear too many hats, and most also struggle with steady referral flow. We've solved both. Here's what you won't be doing on your own: Scheduling and rescheduling — including when you're out sick Billing, credentialing, and insurance follow-up Marketing and referral development Records requests and administrative correspondence Caseload tracking and client recalls We also have dedicated front desk staff who answer phones, greet clients, and build their own trusted relationships with the people we serve. When a client has a question about their bill or needs to reschedule, they have someone to call who knows them — and it isn't you. That means you're not the only point of contact for your clients, and you can leave the office at the end of the day without carrying that weight. Beyond the logistics, we have a genuine culture of peer consultation. Clinicians here talk through hard cases, support each other, and don't work in isolation. That collegial connection is one of the things our team mentions most when they describe why they stay. Your space Full-time clinicians have a dedicated private office with a window. No floating between whatever room is available, no uncertainty about where you'll be working. Your office is yours — a consistent, established space where you and your clients can build the kind of comfort and trust that good therapy requires. Who we're looking for Independently licensed in Ohio — LISW, LPCC, IMFT, or psychologist. We are not offering supervision at this time, so provisional licenses are not a fit right now. At least one year of full-time outpatient experience, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and individual therapy. Comfortable seeing insurance clients, including Medicaid and Medicare — this is core to our mission. Someone who genuinely enjoys the clinical work and wants to spend most of their work week doing it. Providers who enjoy working with kids and teens (a plus, not required). Psychologists with psychological testing experience or interest are especially encouraged to apply — we have high demand for it (autism evaluations, ADHD, presurgical testing). Compensation and benefitsPay:
approximately $45-$75/hour equivalent, depending on license type and caseload volume ($54,000-$85,000+/year at full caseload). This is a percentage-of-revenue collected model, which means your income is directly tied to your work — not capped by a salary ceiling. Clinicians who want a full caseload and show up consistently tend to move toward the top of that range. We'll be straightforward with you about what realistic earnings look like at different volume levels so you can make an informed decision before you ever accept an offer. A hospital or agency position may offer a higher base salary. What it typically won't offer is the autonomy to build your own schedule, a caseload you actually want to see, and a practice infrastructure that lets you spend your day doing therapy instead of chasing paperwork. That trade-off is worth thinking about — and we'd rather you think about it now than six months in. W-2 employee status 401(k) with employer match Employer-paid malpractice insurance and payroll taxes Full administrative and billing support Flexible schedule, Monday-Friday One thing to know upfront: we do not offer employer-sponsored health insurance. We'd rather be transparent about this now than have it be a surprise later. Many of our clinicians find individual coverage through the marketplace — it's more manageable than most people expect, and we're happy to talk through options. What our team says "Positive, professional environment — autonomy as a trusted professional, no micromanaging." "Support and reliability from colleagues and staff." "Access to meaningful clinical work in a flexible and friendly setting." To apply Submit your resume and a brief cover letter through Indeed. Tell us what draws you to a high-volume outpatient setting and what your ideal caseload looks like. We respond within three business days. Kent Psychological Associates- www.kentpsychological.com
