Job Description

What PPW Is Perfect Power Wash is a private-equity-backed residential services platform — the national leader in professional exterior cleaning, operating across eight metros (Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Chambersburg). We've grown through organic expansion and acquisition, with three brands joining the platform in the last 18 months. We run on ServiceTitan, we own our call center, and we're entering 2026 focused on getting more output from every existing dollar — people, marketing, technology. The Role We're hiring an AI Growth Builder — a hungry, technical generalist who wields AI tools (Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, Zapier, Make.com) the way the previous generation wielded Excel. You can write Python, you can read other people's code, you can debug when something breaks at 7 a.m. on a Monday — and AI tools make you three times more productive doing all of it. This isn't a marketing role and it isn't a sales role. It's a builder role with a direct line to the CEO. Your job is to use AI to make our team faster, our leads better, and our operations tighter — one small, real, measurable, production-ready win at a time. What You'll Actually Do Build internal automations that work. Find the repetitive, painful workflows in sales, marketing, ops, finance, and the call center, and replace them with AI-assisted tools that hold up in production. Quote follow-ups, lead scoring, content drafts, call summarization, ServiceTitan data flows — the boring work humans shouldn't be doing in 2026. Be the company's AI capability lead. Build a prompt library and a handful of custom GPTs the team actually uses. Run short, practical training sessions. Sit next to people who are stuck and show them how to get unstuck with AI. Make us collectively faster. Wire systems together. Use Zapier, Make.com, and AI-assisted Python to connect ServiceTitan, our marketing tools, and our analytics. You won't replace our agency partners — you'll do the in-house work they can't. Prototype the growth experiments. When leadership says "what if we could...," you're the person who can have a working prototype by Friday. You'll have a fractional senior engineer on call to help harden the prototypes that need to scale into production. Who We're Looking For A real portfolio of small, working things you've built. Discord bots, scrapers, Streamlit apps, Chrome extensions, automations real people used — this matters more than your GPA or major. Junior-engineer coding chops. You can write Python from scratch (slowly is fine), read someone else's code on GitHub, debug a stack trace, use git, and ship something past the prototype stage. You don't need to be a senior engineer — but you need to be able to fix what you build. Real AI tool fluency. You know the difference between using Claude as a partner and using it as a crutch. You verify what it gives you. You catch its hallucinations. Strong business curiosity. You ask why a company does things a certain way, and you can spot what's worth fixing. Clear thinking, clear writing. You'll present work to a CEO and a board. 2026 grad preferred, but not required. If you finished school a year or two ago and have an AI-builder portfolio with real shipped work, talk to us. How to Apply Application requires two things: A 3-minute Loom video walking us through 1-3 things you've built using AI tools. Show the actual code, not just the polished output. Tell us what broke and how you fixed it. A public GitHub link with at least one repo you're willing to defend in an interview. We care more about these two artifacts than your résumé. Bad audio, messy desk — no problem. Show us what you've made and how you think about it. Résumé optional. Cover letter not required. Interview Process We respect your time. Three rounds, roughly 3.5 hours total: Async review of your Loom + GitHub 90-minute working interview — walk us through your portfolio code, debug a real Python script live (you can use Claude), and talk through how you'd prioritize a list of real PPW problems Final 30-minute conversation with the CEO , plus two reference calls
