Summary:
Cleaning and handling of precision aircraft components Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following however other duties may be assigned.
  • Delicate handling and cleaning of aircraft components as described during training and written references
  • Interpretation of process publications and manufacturer manuals
  • Set up, use, and maintain all equipment in the tear-down and cleaning department
  • Keep safety equipment up to standards
  • Maintain building/workspace cleanliness At a minimum, experience in one or more of these fields are required:
  • Must posses own basic SAE hand tool assortment and organized tool cart
  • Automotive, heavy equipment and/or aircraft mechanical experience
  • Media blast cabinet functions
  • Chemical processing
  • Machine tool operations

Valid Driver's License Qualifications:
To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each key responsibility in a satisfactory manner through individual effort. Additionally, the well-qualified candidate will have the following education and experience. Education and/or
Experience:
Minimum of 1-year mechanical and/or educational experience directly handling components. ASE and/or Airframe and Powerplant license preferred but not required.
Physical Demands:
Lifting up to 100 lbs. with assistance, including walking, crouching, and long periods of standing. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
