Position Summary Noralta Technologies is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician with industrial, oilfield, and automation experience to support our field operations throughout the Mustang, Oklahoma area and surrounding energy markets. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a safety-first mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work that exceeds our clients' expectations. This role is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of traditional electrical craft and modern automation technology within one of North America's most innovative energy services organizations. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment. Work with AC/DC motors, drives, PLCs, electrical wiring, conduits, feeders, lighting, and related components. Fabricate and install conduit, perform motor terminations, and troubleshoot control and instrumentation panels. Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation and automation equipment, including Noralta's nTerface-connected devices. Test electrical and electronic systems for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance. Perform preventive maintenance and correct wiring or connection issues on machinery and control systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and electrical code specifications. Support SCADA systems, PLC programming, and Noralta's automation platforms including nTerface.
Work with industry-standard devices:
Allen-Bradley, IDEC, SCADAPack, ABB Totalflow, Schneider PLC, ROC, and Kimray. Assist with digital communications systems including radios, cellular modems, and networking equipment. Provide technical support for new products, technologies, and automation projects — including Noralta innovations like nSure and nCinerate. Travel as required to support field operations, installations, and client needs across the Oklahoma region. Deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Noralta's highest safety and quality standards. Qualifications Journeyman Electrician certification required. 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in oil and gas environments. Strong background in electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting. Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, automation controls, and instrumentation. Proficiency with AC/DC motors, drives, and control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs. Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Strong understanding of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with operations, engineering, maintenance, and clients. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and travel as required.
