Job Description

Team members from all departments will focus on carrying out the EmberHope mission, vision, and values! To be a successful On-Call Coordinator you must become able to do the following always: 1. Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery. 2. Provide quality customer service to all internal and external customers (via phone calls, e-mail, etc.). 3. Provide on-call crisis response during designated shifts, on-call may respond to crisis by phone but may also require in-person assistance including transporting clients. 4. Participate and complete Trauma Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and trauma informed training to stay current on assisting caregivers with high needs children or behaviors of concern. 5. Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company's Program Practice Guidelines. How you will spend your time in this job: 50% Customer Service 30% Crisis Intervention 20%
Documentation In Summary:
This position functions as a hybrid/remote spot over the weekend to support our Emberhope clients. This position's work week and hours are: Friday, 12pm-10pm, Saturday 8am-11pm, and Sunday 8am-11pm. As a hybrid/remote employee On Call, your role will be to respond to calls during your shift from your remote/home office. However, you will be asked to drive and perform random duties when called which range from picking up and delivering medications to clients, sitting on hospital stays with our youth, or picking up youth belongings. When running these errands, you can drive your own vehicle and claim the mileage. When running errands with YOUTH on board, you must check out a company vehicle at our Emberhope office at 21st and Woodlawn to transport youth when necessary to/from placements, to/from day programs, appointments, JIAC, and more. To qualify for this job, you need to have: 1. High School Diploma/GED Required. Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred. 2. License with the KS BSRB preferred. 3. Prior work experience in customer service and child welfare services preferred. 4. Ability to travel, drive company or personal vehicle including at night. 5. Ability to do occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and walk upstairs. 6. 21 years of age. Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and physical and drug screening. 7. Maintain company-required training. 8. Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Employee subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
