Job Description

Job Overview:
D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Site Health and Safety Officer to join our team. This role will involve providing on-site safety training, implementing safety protocols as well as investigate and report incidents. The ideal candidate will have a solid background working in a construction setting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
Job Summary:
As the On-Site Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of safety among all employees and contractors. This role will be critical in safeguarding the health and well-being of everyone on our job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of on-site operations to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and risk assessments. Provide on-site safety training, toolbox talks, and safety orientations for employees and contractors. Observe workers to ensure appropriate use of personal protection equipment is being implemented. Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and safety violations, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain up-to-date documentation on safety programs, training records, and regulatory compliance. Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters and coordinate with management to promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
OSHA 30hr card for the Construction Industry. Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and
AED. 3-5
years of proven experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in construction or industrial environments. Ability to travel to job sites throughout the country over an extended period. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
