Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - MS Oncology Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic environment focused on delivering exceptional oncology care alongside a collaborative team. This contract-based nursing position involves working on a 24-bed Medical Surgical/Oncology unit known for its strong camaraderie and supportive charge nurse leadership. Our unit provides care to a diverse patient population, blending med/surg expertise with a strong oncology focus and remote telemetry monitoring.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:00
AM Qualifications:
Current RN license Proven Med/Surg nursing experience Experience in oncology care Chemo certification (preferred) ACLS certification (preferred) Proficiency with Meditech EMR Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality med/surg and oncology patient care Administering chemotherapy (for certified RNs) Monitoring vital signs; q8h for standard patients, q4h for remote telemetry Using iPhone nursing system to facilitate real-time care team communications Documenting care proficiently in Meditech Participating in collaborative care planning with physicians, leadership, and allied staff Actively contributing to a positive work culture rooted in mutual support, quality, and patient-centered values Why Choose This Opportunity?
