Job Summary Job Summary BEST Academy is seeking an elementary Teacher for its 100% online charter school serving students and families in Southern California. Teachers will work primarily remotely, typically from home, while facilitating engaging early learning experiences through both synchronous and asynchronous instruction. Responsibilities include supporting student learning, motivation, communication, assessments, interventions, progress monitoring, and detailed reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, student-centered, comfortable using educational technology, and able to build strong relationships with young learners and families in a virtual learning environment. Qualified candidates must hold the appropriate California credential or authorization for the assignment, including English Learner Authorization, and must reside in Southern California due to required in-person activities such as field trips, testing, graduations, and other school events. The salary range is $60,000 to $84,000 annually, depending on years of experience and possession of a cleared credential. BEST Academy does not fund STRS; instead, eligible employees may receive a 13.5% employer match into a 403(b) retirement plan, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
