Qualifications and Experience:

Current and unrestricted RN license Previous experience in an operating room or surgical setting required BLS and ACLS certifications (as applicable) Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR protocols

Key Responsibilities:

Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures, assisting surgical teams as needed Prepare the operating room and equipment according to specific procedures and patient needs Monitor patients' vital signs and advocate for patient safety at all stages of the perioperative process Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital standards Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control guidelines Foster a collaborative, efficient environment by communicating clearly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff Support postoperative patient care and transport as necessary
